Which Freediving Course Is Included?
During our Philippines Freediving Retreat a Level 1, or Level 2 Course with SSI, Molchanovs or PADI is included. There will be two line diving sessions scheduled during the retreat for completing the course or practicing depth diving.
We cannot include your or Level 3 Course because of time restrictions, but we can surely get it started or finished depending on how far you are already on it.

Note: Although masks & snorkels are available to rent, we would recommend you have your own freediving mask and snorkel for this trip to ensure the best fit and the most comfortable experience.

What are the best dates for my flights?
Plan to arrive in Coron at Busuanga Airport by early morning of the first day, we will meet at the resort at 11:30am to complete course theory & pool sessions. If you are not completing a course, you're welcome to arrive any time that day and meet us for dinner at the resort at 6pm. We will have our last dive in the morning on the last day of the retreat, and then check out from the resort at 12pm so plan to leave Coron in the late afternoon or evening.
Accommodation Overview
We will stay together at Coron Westown Resort, where Filipino culture and modern amenities blend into a total resort experience. With an onsite restaurant, 3 outdoor pools, air conditioned rooms and wifi.
Transfers to and from all our activities for the week are included and the hotel is just 5 minutes from Coron town centre.
Included is accommodation in a deluxe twin share room. If you are travelling on your own we will pair you up with another freediver to share with.
There is the option to upgrade to a private room at an extra cost, subject to availability.

Retreat Schedule
The below schedule is an example, subject to variation. We will always choose the best dive sites for the days weather conditions and prioritise as much in water time as possible. We’ll keep our eyes open for all sorts of amazing underwater animals, but of course specific sightings of wild animals can’t be guaranteed.
Day 1Arrive in Coron
- Airport transfer to the hotel in the morning
- Course Theory & Pool Session from 11:30am
- Check in from 2pm
- Group dinner and get to know your new freediving family
Day 2Barracuda LAke
- Line diving & exploration in Barracuda Lake
- Daily underwater photo shoot opportunities with our professional photographers
- Nightly group dinner
Day 3ISLAND HOPPING
- Morning workshop
- Spend the day island hopping, exploring shipwrecks and taking in the amazing surroundings
Day 4DUGONGS & MANTAS
- Depart before sunrise for a trip to freedive with Dugongs
- Visit a manta feeding station to search for manta rays
- Explore swim throughs in the surrounding reef
Day 5Island Hopping
- Visit picturesque Banul Beach
- Freedive in a breathtaking cave with crystal clear water and amazing light rays
- Farewell dinner – share stories, photos and memories
Day 6Barracuda lake
- Our last diving session – line diving and exploration in Barracuda lake.
- Check out from the hotel at 12pm
