Equalization Techniques: Frenzel Workshop
Is the pressure in your ears standing in the way of your depth requirements for your course? Can not find the way to “pop” your ears when diving head first? Getting stuck at the same depth because your equalization stops working?
Then this Equalization Workshop, focused on the Frenzel Manoeuvre is for you!
Good equalisation skills are a must for freediving, not only for line diving, but also for recreational freediving. And when not mastered properly it can become THE limiting factor to continue your depth progression. Therefore learning the Frenzel Maneuver is one of the most important skills in freediving.
This three hour workshop, we will cover understanding of our physiology and what your limitation is, so then we can work on specifics exercises for you and your equalisation development.
We will start with a 1.5 hour dry session to cover a step by step introduction to Frenzel equalization, using exercises and some tools. These exercises are designed to help you learn the manoeuvres and prepare you for the next in-depth exercise.
Then we will get in a 5m depth pool for 1.5 hours, putting into practice the exercises we’ve learned.
If you don’t feel ready to commit to this workshop, we invite you to read our equalization post on our blog.
Limited spaces available.
